Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter with experience in telehealth to support educational settings in Anchorage, AK. This contract position requires effective communication and interpretation for students and staff who use American Sign Language (ASL) within schools.

• Provide accurate and clear interpretation services for classroom instruction, staff meetings, and telehealth sessions
• Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators, ensuring accessibility to the curriculum
• Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and participation during virtual and in-person activities
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions
• Utilize telehealth platforms efficiently to deliver remote interpretation services when needed

• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in educational environments
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and understanding of deaf culture
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and remote interpreting best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to varied settings and work independently
