Remote Sign Language Interpreter in AZ

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter with experience in telehealth services, located in Tempe, AZ. This role supports effective communication within an educational setting, utilizing both in-person and virtual platforms to assist students, staff, and families.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing accurate and clear interpretation of American Sign Language (ASL) during educational sessions, meetings, and telehealth appointments
• Facilitating communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing persons in real time
• Adhering to confidentiality standards and maintaining professionalism in all interactions
• Collaborating with educators and healthcare providers to ensure accessible communication
• Assisting with administrative duties related to telehealth interpretation services, such as scheduling and documentation

Qualifications and experience sought for this role:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with prior interpretation experience in educational or clinical telehealth environments
