A 1099 contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in Telehealth services within a school environment. This role is based in Taylor, MI, offering the chance to provide vital communication support for students and staff who utilize American Sign Language (ASL) in a remote or hybrid learning setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate accurate and effective communication between hearing-impaired students and educational personnel during telehealth sessions and virtual classrooms.
• Translate spoken language into sign language and vice versa, ensuring clear understanding of instructions, discussions, and educational content.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics while supporting various student needs.
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to support individualized learning plans and telehealth consultations.
• Prepare for interpreting assignments by reviewing relevant materials and engaging in ongoing professional development.
