Chinese Mandarin Audio Transcription Expert

You will create accurate, verbatim transcripts from Mandarin and English audio samples. You will also add required tags or context notes, review your work, and deliver finished transcripts that meet project guidelines.

The role involves working independently while contacting project coordinators when audio is unclear or a language issue needs to be resolved.

• Listen to Mandarin and English audio and produce verbatim transcripts.
• Add tags and contextual notes according to project instructions.
• Proofread and edit transcripts for accuracy, consistency, and formatting.
• Follow quality standards and deliver completed work within agreed timelines.
• Share linguistic insights that may improve Mandarin-focused AI systems.

This is an entry-level contractor role, but professional transcription experience is required. The work is remote and part time, with fewer than 20 hours expected each week.

• Pay: $20 to $36 USD per hour.
