About the Opportunity

Ad Astra, Inc. is seeking Esperanto language professionals with software localization and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) expertise for an upcoming large-scale project with potential recurring assignments.

The ideal candidate has strong command of Esperanto, excellent English comprehension, and experience working with software-related content and localization workflows.

Responsibilities

Review and post-edit machine-translated software content from English into Esperanto.

Ensure accuracy, readability, consistency, and appropriate technical terminology.

Work with user interface strings, software localization keys, and technical content.

Preserve placeholders, variables, formatting, and other non-translatable elements.

Follow project terminology, style guides, and client requirements.

Work within a proprietary translation platform.

Meet deadlines and maintain reliable communication.

Qualifications

Advanced or professional-level proficiency in Esperanto.

Excellent English comprehension.

Experience in software localization or technical translation.

Previous MTPE experience strongly preferred.

Familiarity with software interfaces, localization keys, and terminology management.

Ability to learn proprietary translation tools.

Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Willingness to complete required linguistic and technical assessments.
