Associate / Senior Associate – General Practice (Family, Civil & Commercial Law) - Hybrid Work Arrangement (up to 4 days WFH option)
We are partnering with an award-winning Singapore law firm to recruit Associates and Senior Associates for a general practice role spanning Family, Civil, and Commercial law
, with the opportunity to specialise in a chosen area as your practice develops.
This role is ideal for lawyers who enjoy breadth in their work, strong client exposure, and the flexibility to build depth in their preferred practice area over time.
The Opportunity
- Family law matters such as divorce, maintenance, custody, and related applications
- Civil litigation and dispute resolution
- Commercial and corporate advisory work, including drafting and reviewing agreements
- Client advisory work across multiple practice areas
- Court appearances, negotiations, mediations, and hearings (where applicable)
- Gradually developing a focused practice in family, civil, or commercial law
, based on interest and performance
Who You Are
- Hold a recognised Law degree and are admitted to practise in Singapore
- Minimum 1–2 years’ PQE (Associates) or relevant experience for Senior Associates
- Exposure to family, civil, and/or commercial matters in Singapore
- Strong drafting, legal research, and advocacy skills
- Clear, confident communicator with strong attention to detail
- Adaptable, organised, and able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice
- Client-focused, professional, and commercially aware
- Keen to develop long-term expertise in a chosen practice area
