Criteria:
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, legal documents, and court filings.
- File documents with courts and administrative agencies (electronically and in person).
- Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and hard copy.
- Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule appointments, deadlines, depositions, and meetings.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
- Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including preparation of exhibits and trial notebooks.
- Assist with submitting expenses and time entries and assist with billing-related tasks.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a professional administrative role or as a legal assistant preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with document management systems and e-filing is a plus.
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
