OpportunityAs a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will support all compliance and regulatory matters for dLocal’s business and operations across APAC. Your role enables business growth while guarding against regulatory, legal, and reputational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal knowledge and expertise on financial, payments, and fintech regulations in APAC countries.
- Offer advice to internal teams to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory requirements are met from initiation to completion.
- Educate stakeholders on relevant laws and regulations, conduct training, and assess adherence to training plans.
- Recommend legal and regulatory impacts across divisions, highlighting revenue opportunities and cost‑saving measures.
- Collaborate with business units to enforce compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Promote company‑wide awareness of regulatory obligations.
- Co‑author policies and internal processes.
- Maintain a compliance calendar and submit legal and regulatory returns on time.
- Continuously advise departments on AML & CFT, Data Privacy, and fintech regulations.
- Advanced degree in law, compliance, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience as a regulatory or compliance officer, or legal advisor.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Experience in an international company, payments firm, financial institution, or law firm.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, flexible, and highly responsible.
