Overview
The attorney selected for this position will advise the Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Revenue. Oil & Gas Section attorneys represent State of Alaska client agencies to ensure that Alaska’s vast oil, gas, geothermal, and subsurface energy interests are responsibly managed and revenues from royalties and taxes received. The legal services provided by the attorney in this position include a fascinating mix of client advice, administrative law matters, civil litigation, appellate practice, transactional work, and energy research.
Some travel may be required. Flexible schedules and work from home arrangements may be available.
