Commercial Transactions Attorney

Overview

Reid and Riege, P.C., a mid-sized Connecticut law firm with a business services practice, seeks a corporate transactional attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join our team in the downtown Hartford office. Partial remote work will be considered.

Qualified candidates will have a background of increasing responsibility in commercial/corporate law, with particular emphasis on transactional work. M&A and/or private fund experience a plus.

• 3+ years of experience at a law firm and/or in house legal department
• Background in commercial/corporate law, with particular emphasis on transactional work
• Strong drafting, advocacy and organizational skills
• Excellent judgment, verbal communication skills, and negotiation skills
• Ability to connect and develop positive relationships with a variety of internal clients
• Dedication to providing top notch client service
• Private fund experience is a plus
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Connecticut Bar admission in good standing or ability to become admitted promptly
