Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in managing complex litigation cases, maintaining organized case files and tracking deadlines
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare summaries for attorneys
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests
  • Interview witnesses and assist with witness preparation for depositions and trial
  • Manage relationships with external law firms and facilitate communication between outside counsel and internal teams
Qualifications
  • Arizona Driver License
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a legal environment
  • Knowledge of concepts, terminology, and procedures of American law
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including writing legal documents
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a closely related field, and/or a paralegal certificate
  • Acceptable paralegal certifications such as ALP, PLS, CLP, or PP from NALS
  • Strong litigation focus preferred
