Position Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level attorney with experience in pharmacy, telehealth, and/or med spa transactions or regulatory compliance to join our health and life sciences practice. This role involves regular collaboration and increasing responsibility for client-facing regulatory and transactional matters.

Qualifications- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in Indiana, or licensed in another state but eligible to become licensed in Indiana
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare-related legal experience (law firm or in-house)
- Ability to work primarily in person in Indianapolis, IN, hybrid or remote considered for the right candidate
- Experience drafting and reviewing healthcare-related agreements (e.g., pharmacy services, medical director, MSO, telehealth, or med spa agreements)
- Ability to identify regulatory-sensitive provisions and flag risk for partner review
- Regulatory & Compliance - Experience researching and analyzing federal and state healthcare laws (e.g., pharmacy law, FDA, DEA, state licensure or scope-of-practice issues). Ability to produce clear, client-ready written analyses with legal citations
- Client Communication & Professional Judgment - Ability to explain regulatory issues in practical, plain-language terms. Sound judgment in identifying high-risk issues and escalating appropriately
- Work Style - Strong legal writing and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple matters with supervision in a collaborative practice
- Nice to Have (Not Required) - Direct experience with:
- Pharmacy law, compounding, or PBM-related issues
- Telehealth or med spa regulatory structures
- Transactional experience involving healthcare businesses (e.g., due diligence, asset or stock sales, ownership or licensure changes)
- Familiarity with:
- AKS, Stark, fee-splitting, or corporate practice considerations
- HIPAA or healthcare data privacy issues
- Experience interacting with Boards of Pharmacy or other healthcare regulators
- Interest in developing deep subject-matter expertise in a specialized healthcare practice
