Latitude is seeking an experienced litigator for a part‑time remote position, handling various commercial matters and managing outside counsel for the company. Trial experience is desired, as well as significant hands‑on experience with discovery, complex motions, and strategies to resolve matters at an efficient pace and cost basis. Texas Bar required.
Basic Requirements For The In-House Litigation Counsel- 5 or more years handling complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal court in Texas.
- Experience coordinating and managing outside counsel and other risk‑management best practices.
- Top‑tier firm and prior in‑house litigation experience needed.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.

Approximately 20 hours per week, with additional hours as needed. - Location:
Remote.
Pay:
The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 or more when calculated on a full‑time basis. Contract engagements are billed at a rate that reflects experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate's preference; each rate affects the client bill and the candidate’s competitiveness.
Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees and are eligible for full benefits when working 20 or more hours per week. Benefits‑eligible professionals receive:
