This role is essential in providing strategic legal guidance that supports the innovative efforts at the core of product development. By working closely with various teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, you will ensure compliance and support responsible innovation. This is a unique opportunity for a legal professional to gain expansive in-house experience within a dynamic regulatory landscape while helping to scale user‑centric products.
Accountabilities- Design, implement, and improve legal policies and procedures to manage business risk on a global scale.
- Provide practical advice to business clients on legal issues including regulatory, privacy, marketing, and intellectual property.
- Review products and initiatives to assess legal compliance from development to launch.
- Advise cross‑functional teams with appropriate risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cohesive legal strategies.
- J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) with active membership in a U.S. state bar.
- 6+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm or in‑house.
- Proactive approach to work, with initiative in seeking feedback.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Experience in regulatory, product, and privacy counseling.
