Legal Assistant Paralegal

Our client a Mass Tort and Personal Injury boutique law firm in Jackson, Ohio is seeking a part-time, remote position supporting one to two Of Counsel attorneys handling general litigation as well as personal injury cases. The role is a mix of paralegal and administrative support work.

• Revising and proofreading pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
• Drafting and sending correspondence and mail
• Filing and organizing case files
• Requesting medical records from healthcare providers
• Reviewing and summarizing medical records for case evaluation
• Assisting with marketing efforts related to mass tort litigation
• General administrative support as needed
• Ideal candidates would have paralegal experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with medical records
• Experience in personal injury litigation is a plus
• Average 15+ hours per week
• Hourly rate - $35.00 - $40.00+ based on experience
