Workers' Attorney

Our multi-disciplinary firm client is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to take on an active caseload and support ongoing litigation matters across New Jersey. This role offers a mix of independence, collaboration, and courtroom exposure.

• Manage New Jersey workers’ compensation matters from ongoing casework through resolution
• Research legal issues and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and related filings
• Appear at court hearings and assist with conferences, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Work closely with senior attorneys on higher-level or complex matters
• Maintain client relationships while meeting billable expectations

• JD from an accredited law school with active New Jersey bar admission
• 3+ years of New Jersey workers’ compensation experience with the ability to assume an existing caseload
• Working knowledge of New Jersey court procedures and evidentiary rules preferred
• Comfortable with modern legal and document management tools
• Highly organized, self-directed, and effective in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Hybrid position with an initial full-time in-office period during onboarding
• Flexibility for partial remote work after ramp-up
• Court travel required for venues with in-person hearings
