We've partnered with a growing, modern law firm that focuses on Family Law and Criminal Defense matters in the Las Vegas / Clark County area.
They are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal to support their Family Law practice and are moving quickly for the right candidate. This is a remote role (Las Vegas-based preferred). Local candidates are a plus, but flexibility is available.

OverviewParalegals work in support of and under the direct supervision of attorneys and must remain mindful not to engage in the unauthorized practice of law. All work will be administrative, procedural, and supportive in nature.
Responsibilities- Organizing and maintaining case files
- Docketing and calendaring key dates and deadlines
- Tracking deadlines and communicating with the appropriate parties
- Assisting with completion of legal forms
- Drafting correspondence and court documents for attorney review
- Preparing reports and legal documents for attorney review
- Conducting legal research and verifying case law and statutes
- Preparing discovery and responses to discovery requests
- Meeting with clients to review discovery responses
- Communicating with clients regarding updates and information gathering
- Assisting attorneys with hearing and trial preparation
- Assisting in the courtroom when needed
- Providing backup support for legal assistant duties (phones, scheduling, file updates, e-filing)
- Other duties as assigned
- Paralegal degree or certification preferred.
- 7 - 10+ years of Family Law paralegal experience strongly required.
- Will consider a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Nevada experience required.
- Strong attention to detail

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (bilingual is a plus)
- Experience with legal software (Clio preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment while collaborating with a team
- Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
