We are hiring a full-time Legal Virtual Assistant to assist the Head of Business Affairs with the drafting of a variety of contracts for artists and writers, including sync licences and third party agreements, as well as amendments, side letters, extensions, etc.

• Negotiating, drafting and finalising agreements (including recording/publishing/third party/sync/NDAs).
• Drafting & amending boiler plates.
• Keeping an up to date legal database of signed agreements, maintaining options diaries, advances and other contract management documentation and systems.
• Answering contractual queries from internal departments and third parties in relation to all Hospital and Songs In The Key Of Knife executed agreements and licences.
• Disseminating deal points and information to other departments within the organisation.
• Setting up recording & publishing deals on Curve & Rights Hub.
• Other ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time.
• To represent the interests of Hospital Records Ltd to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all business activities.
• To comply with current revisions of Hospital Records' internal policies, procedures and guidelines including Health & safety, sustainability and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.

• Strong legal experience, particularly in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Comfortable independently reviewing, drafting, and finalising agreements.
• Solid foundational knowledge of contract law and commercial terms.
• Music law and copyright experience preferred (but not essential).
• Ability to quickly learn music industry-specific legal frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence handling agreements autonomously.
• Ability to work from 9 AM to 5 PM GMT.
