- Position: Litigation Paralegal (Mid-Level)
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Location: Fully remote; must be Los Angeles-based and available during Pacific Time business hours
- Type: Full-time
Mou Law PC is a Los Angeles-based boutique litigation firm. We are seeking a mid-level litigation paralegal who can independently manage core litigation workflows, communicate clearly, and thrive in a high-accountability remote environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain litigation calendars and track deadlines across active matters.
- Prepare, format, and file pleadings and other litigation documents (including California state court and federal court filing).
- Assist with discovery from start to finish, including drafting discovery shells, coordinating document collection, managing productions, and preparing Bates labels and privilege logs.
- Coordinate depositions, subpoenas, records requests, service of process, and vendor logistics.
- Organize and maintain digital case files, exhibits, and attorney work product in a remote setting.
- Support hearing and trial preparation, including exhibit and witness organization and trial prep checklists.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel as needed.
- Provide clear status updates and proactively flag issues to attorneys before they become problems.
- 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Strong calendaring and deadline management skills.
- Hands‑on experience supporting discovery workflows (requests, responses, and productions).
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and document formatting skills.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and follow‑through in a remote environment.
- Comfort working independently and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Experience with trial or hearing preparation.
- Experience coordinating eDiscovery or working with common eDiscovery tools/platforms.
- Paralegal certificate (ABA‑approved preferred).
Base salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
