Job Details

We are currently seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney specializing in Labor & Employment to join our dynamic legal team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing EPLI (Employment Practices Liability Insurance) matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor and employment laws and excellent litigation skills. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Manage EPLI (Employment Practices Liability Insurance) matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their rights and obligations under applicable labor and employment laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Develop litigation strategies.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws to prevent potential legal disputes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective and efficient case management.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations, and educate clients and colleagues on these changes.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in labor and employment litigation in a law firm environment.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Proven track record of successfully representing clients in labor and employment disputes.
  • Exceptional legal research, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
