Senior Trial Attorney, Insurance Defense

We are seeking a seasoned attorney responsible for representing clients in various insurance defense matters, primarily managing moderate to high complexity cases from intake to resolution.

• Litigate cases involving complex legal issues, performing tasks from pleadings to trial or settlement.
• Serve as the lead attorney in hearings and trials, developing strategies and arguments for effective case management.
• Utilize knowledge of legal precedents to analyze case outcomes and identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Consult with the Claims Executive team, advising on legal strategies for personal injury claims.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys to foster their development.

This position may involve fieldwork, requiring occasional travel and physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically an indoor office setting.

• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree.
• Mandatory:
  Licensed to practice law in the applicable states upon hire.
• Required:
  
  Seven years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense and personal injury cases.
• Preferred:
  First and second chair trial experience, with a focus on bodily injury litigation.

• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Effective leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  
  Proficient in technology to enhance efficiency in a virtual work environment.
