This position is for licensed attorneys only.
In this role, the Partner will work in a highly collaborative, team environment to provide legal counsel to organizations investigating and responding to data privacy and cybersecurity incidents. Partners will oversee and advise Associates as they collect information needed to understand each situation, engage and direct experts to investigate and respond, ensure compliance with applicable laws, communicate with regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies and other third‑parties, and serve as the primary client contact throughout the investigation.
Due to the unpredictable nature of cybersecurity events, all Partners and Associates participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to provide crisis management support outside normal business hours.
Desired qualifications include membership in good standing to a state Bar, experience with cybersecurity law, an enthusiastic and team‑oriented attitude, exceptional analytic, writing, communication, and preparation skills, and focused attention to detail. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and the ability to independently maintain their own caseload while providing guidance and mentorship to Associates.
We are looking for attorneys who generally bring 6–12 years of experience, with preference given to those who have worked in private or in‑house practices responsible for data privacy, cybersecurity, healthcare, and regulatory compliance, or on behalf of a regulatory agency involving data privacy and cybersecurity matters.
