Seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney with 2-3 years of plaintiff-side experience to join our team. This is a primarily remote position, but the attorney must be available for client meetings, depositions, mediations, and occasional court appearances in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate combines strong advocacy skills with excellent client communication and an ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution (negotiation, mediation, trial as needed)
- Conduct client interviews and maintain frequent, clear client communication
- Prepare and respond to pleadings, discovery, motions; draft demand packages and settlement agreements
- Negotiate with insurers and defense counsel to maximize client recovery
- Attend client meetings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances in the Fairfax area as required
- Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys to develop case strategy and ensure timely case progression
- Maintain accurate case files and meet calendaring and billing requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active Virginia bar license
- 2-3 years of experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury cases
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and written advocacy skills
- Comfortable conducting remote work while traveling to Fairfax for in-person client meetings and proceedings
- Excellent client-facing skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Trial experience or familiarity with courtroom procedures in Virginia
- Experience with case management software and e-filing systems
- Existing network of medical and expert resources
