Established and growing plaintiff’s personal injury and workers' compensation law firm located in Oxnard (Ventura County). We are seeking an associate attorney. Ideal candidate will have prior personal injury experience but not necessary we are willing to train. We are looking for someone who will grow with the firm.

Responsibilities will include:

• Propound and respond to discovery.
• Manage caseload of prelitigation files and caseload of litigation files
• Perform legal research, draft motions, complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents, as necessary.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings as required.
• Assist Lead Attorney with maintenance of cases ensuring all cases move forward in a timely manner and within deadlines.
• Provide excellent service to all clients.
• Prepare for Second chair trial and prepare litigation cases for trial.
• Represented clients in personal injury accidents; auto, slip & fall, motorcycle, wrongful death, premises liability and product liability
• Investigated and prepared claim settlement demands to insurance companies
• Negotiated and settle disputes with insurance companies
• Prepared and filed civil lawsuits on behalf of clients

Qualified candidate will be in good standing and have a CA license. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
