The Marrone Law Firm, P.C., is a strategically-growing, boutique law firm in Central New York specializing in the areas of Elder Law, Trusts and Estates, and Guardian ships. We help clients plan for the future and protect their families. We are a small, family-oriented office of ten people with a focus on improving our community and improving the lives of our clients.

• Working with staff attorneys on all client files;
• Preparing drafts of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents;
• Attending court appearances;
• Meeting with clients;
• Drafting accountings and related Surrogate's Court pleadings;
• Assisting clients in skilled nursing facilities with Medicaid applications.

You are committed to the field of elder law and estate planning. You must demonstrate a commitment to the area of elder law and estate planning as evidenced through your professional experience or law school coursework.

You love learning. Internal and external processes are constantly evolving and improving, and you are always looking for the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute.

You are a fantastic multitasker. You will often be surrounded by competing priorities, and our ideal candidate can determine the difference between urgent and high priority, and act accordingly.

You are a self-starter. You’ll have many team members to collaborate with, but you’ll need to be able to take ownership of each of your projects from start to completion.

You are an excellent communicator. You have superior written and verbal communication skills.

• An attorney admitted to practice in New York State, preferably with 1-6 years of practical work experience in the field, or a recent law school graduate pending bar exam results, with coursework related to estate planning and/or elder law.
• Ability to present a professional appearance when meeting with clients
• Commitment to excellence in client service

This will be a full-time position based in our Syracuse office, with opportunity for professional development and career advancement.
