This role is ideal for someone academically strong and intellectually curious, with a passion for shaping high-level legal discourse through legal research and academic publications on class actions and mass torts.
Role DescriptionThe Legal Research & Content Specialist will be responsible for conducting in-depth legal research, developing content strategies, and creating written materials related to class actions and mass torts. Key tasks include synthesizing complex legal information and producing high-quality written content. This is a part-time, remote role that requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to deliver content aligned with industry standards and trends.
Qualifications& Responsibilities
- Strong communication and writing skills to create articulate and clear content addressing legal concepts.
- Proficiency in research and analytical skills to evaluate and synthesize complex legal information effectively.
- Experience in content strategy to develop and implement plans for impactful legal materials.
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage deadlines in a remote working environment.
- A background in legal studies or related fields is highly desirable, including knowledge of class actions and mass torts.
- Research and write authoritative articles, thought pieces, and legal commentary on class actions and mass torts.
- Draft and manage Perfect Law newsletters, including case updates and conference insights.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on cases, legislation, regulatory trends, and judicial developments.
- Collaborate closely with the Perfect Law team to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with conference themes.
- Law degree (required) or current law student (final year or postgraduate).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in legal copywriting, legal publications, or professional writing roles.
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency is required.
- Strong knowledge of the legal sector, with a focus on class actions, mass torts, competition law, and collective redress.
- Excellent legal writing and editorial skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, engaging content.
- Research-driven, detail-oriented.
- Prior experience in legal publishing, academia, or legal research roles is an advantage.
