Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling civil litigation or insurance defense matters, strong litigation skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including professional liability (including accountants/CPAs, architects & engineers, legal and medical malpractice), complex commercial and insurance matters (bad faith, D&O, data breach), and a broad range of tort and casualty defense, including construction, employment, municipal, premises, products, toxic torts, transportation, and admiralty/marine.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discover.
- Take and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
- Prepare for and or participate in mediations, arbitrations, depositions and trials.
- Analyze and evaluate cases, develop litigation strategies, and provide risk assessments to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, claims representatives, and opposing counsel.
- Attend court hearings, trials and other legal proceedings as necessary.
- 2+ Years experience in insurance defense related or civil litigation.
- Strong knowledge of insurance law, litigation procedures, and court rules.
- Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed in CA in good standing.
