Job Summary:
Legal is seeking detail-oriented and experienced Legal Transcriptionists to join our team. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of legal terminology, excellent listening and typing skills, and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality transcripts of legal proceedings and dictations.
Responsibilities:- Transcribe audio and video recordings of legal proceedings, depositions, and correspondence.
- Ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and compliance with legal formatting standards.
- Review and proofread completed transcripts before submission.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Meet assigned deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
- Proven experience as a legal transcriptionist.
- Must have graduated from a reputable transcription training program.
- Strong command of legal terminology and document formatting.
- Excellent typing speed and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with For the Record and Liberty platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
