We handle a wide range of complex business and commercial transactions and related contractual matters. Position Description
This is an in-office Legal Analyst / Practice Assistant / Executive Paralegal / Transaction Manager role located in the South End area of Charlotte, NC. The position will be responsible for various tasks related to legal document preparation, communication, analysis, legal document drafting, due diligence, word processing, process and project management, and other common tasks related to commercial real estate and finance transactions and business, contracts and corporate law.
The role is part-time but expected to be at least 20+ hours per week (4-5 hours per day) and could convert to full-time hourly. This is an in-office position but will have some work from home / remote capabilities.

Qualifications
- A strong legal background in commercial real estate and finance transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and a quick and savvy learner
- Experience in legal document drafting and review, legal abstracts and summaries, closing file compilation, due diligence review and liaising with clients, vendors, counter parties, and transaction partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word (including word processing), Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro (PDF), SharePoint, Quick Books, and law firm document management systems
- Issue spotting and substantive knowledge of complex commercial real estate and secured financing matters, and the ability to manage and quickly toggle between numerous matters and tasks for different clients
- Candidate must be a self-starter, problem solver, go-getter, organized and detail oriented
- Candidate should be personable, diligent, reliable and have a willingness and eagerness to learn and contribute to team success
- Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification preferred (e.g. commercial real estate, finance, paralegal); commercial real estate title/survey/zoning, corporate/business entity work, and secured lending experience preferred
