Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney for a full-time, remote position. In this role, you will represent employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters, providing strategic legal counsel and delivering effective defense solutions. This opportunity is open to candidates across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims
- Represent clients in administrative hearings and legal proceedings
- Provide legal advice and conduct in-depth legal research
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions
- Negotiate settlements and manage case strategies
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Strong experience in workers’ compensation defense (preferred)
- Excellent negotiation, research, and legal writing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
