Position: Detectives and Criminal Investigators – AI Trainer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $20 – $75/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

• Assess crime scenes and check victims for vital signs, ensuring appropriate immediate actions are taken.
• Obtain and document statements from complainants, witnesses, and suspects using digital recording and documentation tools.
• Secure crime scenes, preserve evidence, and manage procedures until appropriate authorities or medical examiners arrive.
• Maintain comprehensive investigative records, track suspect files, and prepare detailed reports for review.
• Utilize investigative databases and crime scene management tools to manage evidence and case information.
• Support AI model development by providing expert insights into investigative processes and case management workflows.
• Perform digital image management and analysis to enhance crime scene documentation and reconstruction processes.

• Proficiency with National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database and Data Works Plus Digital Crime Scene.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Access, MySQL, and Microsoft Outlook or similar communication platforms.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Design 3D Eyewitness, and digital image or graphics management solutions.
• Working knowledge of ESRI Arc View or other GIS tools for mapping and spatial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for accurate reporting and collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive investigative information responsibly.
• Thorough understanding of investigative procedures and evidence preservation standards.
