Salary: $145,000 - $220,000 per year

We’re hiring an experienced trial attorney to handle insurance defense matters across Utah. This is a work-from-home role with in-person court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed. No billable hours, real work‑life balance, and a strong benefits package.

• Manage moderate to high‑exposure insurance defense cases from intake through resolution
• Serve as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs
• Build case strategies and prepare matters for trial or settlement
• Analyze legal precedent and evaluate case risk
• Partner with Claims leadership to provide legal guidance on personal injury matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Mentor and guide supporting attorneys as part of case development

• 7+ years of litigation experience
• Insurance defense, personal injury, and jury trial experience required
• First‑ and second‑chair trial experience strongly preferred
• Multistate practice experience is a plus
• Active law license in applicable states (Utah required)
• Strong courtroom presence and public speaking skills
• Comfortable handling high‑volume, adversarial litigation
• Excellent writing, communication, and leadership abilities
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable working in a virtual, paperless environment
