Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per year
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated WC Defense Attorney to join our innovative, fast-paced legal team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while having the opportunity to make an impact on our clients' lives. As a WC Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of workers' compensation defense cases.

- Provide aggressive representation for clients in all phases of workers' compensation defense litigation from inception to resolution.
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, opinions, orders, and subpoenas.
- Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
- Conduct and defend depositions of claimants, medical personnel, and other parties.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and informal settlement conferences.
- Maintain excellent client relationships through regular communication, providing updates on case status and progress.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a WC Defense Attorney.
- Proven track record in workers' compensation defense litigation.
- Exceptional knowledge of current WC laws and regulations, court rules, and procedures.
- Strong advocacy, research, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
- High level of independence and initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable working remotely and able to use digital communication tools effectively.
