Associate Attorney- Remote

Job Description

We have partnered with a top-ranking boutique firm in the Los Angeles area that has experienced consistent growth every few years. This firm has excellent tenure, most staff (attorneys and support staff) have been with the firm for 10+ years. If you have complex business litigation experience and are interested in joining a firm of attorneys who stepped away from the Big Law daily grind, this may be an opportunity for you.

The billable hours are 1800, the firm goes to trial about once per year and has multiple arbitrations per year. This team specifically is working with on defend consumer claims, including individual claims in State and Federal Court, and class action defense. They work with premier in-house legal departments. You will be given the chance to have significant client contact, grow your business as an attorney with an individualize partnership track (if you are interested).

The team has 7 attorneys and a paralegal- all are accustomed to working remote.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of complex business litigation experience
• Preferably big law experience
• Strong motion experience, discovery, familiar with depositions
• Taking and defending depositions is not a requirement, but an added plus. Exposure to taking/defending depos is required
• Top 50 law school
• Comfortable working remote
• Offices in Manhattan Beach and Downtown LA for those who like to be in person
• Admitted in CA- in good standing
