Part-Time Litigation Attorney - Martinsburg, WV

Bowles Rice LLP, a well-established regional, full-service law firm with offices throughout West Virginia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, is seeking to retain a part-time attorney to work on court-appointed matters in Berkeley County, West Virginia. The successful candidate will work solely on court-appointed cases covering criminal defense, abuse & neglect proceedings, and juvenile delinquency/juvenile status offense cases. The work will include all aspects of litigation related to these court-appointed cases.

This position offers a part-time flexible schedule with remote work. However, the successful candidate must meet with attorneys in our Martinsburg office and attend all court hearings in and around the Martinsburg, West Virginia area.

Candidates must be equipped with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills and have at least three years of experience as a practicing attorney. Candidates must be licensed to practice in West Virginia and work in the Martinsburg area.

Must be able to successfully pass all required background screening, including criminal.
