About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Spanish‑speaking contract immigration attorney to support our growing practice by handling court and agency appearances, with a strong emphasis on removal defense matters. This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident in court, comfortable working directly with clients in Spanish and English, and looking for flexible, contract‑based work.
The attorney will appear on behalf of our clients for scheduled proceedings and appointments and will work closely with our internal legal team to ensure continuity of representation and strategy.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in removal defense matters, including Master Calendar Hearings (MCHs), Hearings on the Merits (HOMs), USCIS interviews, ICE check‑ins and related agency appointments
- Communicate directly with clients in Spanish and English
- Provide brief, timely post‑appearance summaries and outcomes to the firm
- Follow firm strategy, guidance, and documentation protocols
- Communicate professionally with court staff, government officials, and clients
