- Manage and oversee a probate docket of approximately 30 cases, ensuring timely progression and resolution
- Supervise and direct the work of the paralegal and legal assistant, including task delegation and workflow oversight
- Attend court hearings, conferences, and probate proceedings as required
- Maintain consistent and professional client communication, including case updates and guidance
- Conduct new client intake, initial case evaluations, and follow‑up communications
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, correspondence, and probate‑related documents
- Ensure accurate calendaring and compliance with court deadlines and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with firm leadership to report on case status and workload capacity
- Utilize case management systems to maintain organized and up‑to‑date files
- Perform additional duties related to probate matters as assigned
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- Prior probate or estate administration experience strongly preferred
- Experience supervising paralegals and legal assistants
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small firm team
- Proficiency with legal technology and case management software (e.g., Clio or similar platforms)
$60 - $90 hourly
