Business Compliance Administrator; Part-Time, Remote

Who we are:

A growing multi-state consumer goods company with three entities operating across multiple states. We move fast and expand into new markets regularly.

Own our entire government compliance and regulatory correspondence operation. That means every letter, notice, filing, deadline, and renewal across all three entities and all states we operate in - currently several, with new ones added as we grow. You'll work directly with our accountant, our payroll platform, and our registered agent service, and you'll be the one who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

• Triage all incoming government correspondence across entities
• Identify what needs action, what's routine, what's urgent
• Handle filings, renewals, registrations, and responses
• Flag anything that needs a lawyer or accountant - and brief them so they can act fast

• You've worked at a law firm back office, CPA firm, registered agent company, or government agency
• You look at a letter from the New Jersey Department of Labor and you just know what it is and what to do
• You're organized, independent, and don't need hand-holding
• You probably do this for other small businesses already

• You've never dealt with multi-state business compliance before
