Financial Analyst

Top Washington, D.C. law firm specializing in municipal securities and affordable housing law seeks full-time financial analyst to join our growing team. Bachelor’s degree is required, with an emphasis in the mathematics, finance, economics, or real estate development fields preferred, demonstrating superior academic performance (GPA 3.5 or higher). Transactional, structured finance, or real estate development experience is a plus. Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, writing and communication ability and attention to detail are essential;
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel required).Ideal candidates will thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment; they will be self-motivated, flexible and have the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines under pressure.

This position is perfect for the outstanding student who desires substantive work experience and direct exposure to top investment banks, law firms and real estate developers prior to embarking on a career in corporate law, finance, banking or development. Typical responsibilities will include financial analysis, bond cashflow modeling, maintaining our extensive transaction tracking database and legal document review and preparation. The starting salary is $65K-$70K (overtime possible) and is a fully remote position.
