MOUDERN, PC is a modern, remote-first practice with clear expectations, streamlined systems, and a strong emphasis on high-quality writing, professionalism, and results. Our work includes (1) plaintiff-side litigation (including consumer and other statutory claims), and (2) general commercial litigation (hourly matters).
Why This Role- Real ownership: manage active matters, drive strategy, and move cases forward.
- Writing-forward practice: you will draft substantive motions, oppositions, and discovery papers.
- Remote-first team with modern workflows, clear standards, and direct access to the principal attorney for strategy and escalation.
- Upside tied to results: quarterly bonus tied to cleared settlement funds and origination credit for matters you bring in.
- Total Compensation Potential (Base + Bonus): $140,000 - $350,000+ (depending on experience, performance, and case results).
- Base Salary (pay scale): $140,000 - $240,000, depending on experience and demonstrated ability to independently litigate, draft, and negotiate.
- Quarterly Bonus Opportunity: performance bonus tied to cleared settlement funds (paid on a regular cadence; amounts vary based on performance and results).
- Origination: origination credit starting at 15% for matters you originate (per firm policy and collection terms).
You will regularly (i) communicate with opposing counsel (calls and written negotiation), (ii) draft substantive motions and oppositions, and (iii) manage cases from filing through resolution, including discovery disputes and motion practice as needed.

- Draft and handle discovery meet-and-confer efforts (letters, calls, dispute narrowing, and escalation strategy).

- Draft other briefing and litigation papers as needed (e.g., procedural motions, oppositions/replies, case management statements where applicable).
- Prepare for and attend hearings (remote or in-person as required by the court/matter).
- Independently manage a portfolio of plaintiff-side matters from filing through resolution, including maintaining deadlines and next steps.
- Maintain a clean pipeline and follow-up cadence to prevent cases from stalling.
- Coordinate and delegate effectively with law clerks and support staff to ensure tasks move efficiently and accurately.
- Provide concise, reliable status updates and forecasting to firm leadership.
When staffed on hourly commercial litigation, you will handle active litigation tasks (including motion practice, discovery disputes, and briefing) requiring the same strong writing and litigation skills described above.
Hours, Timekeeping, and How Performance Is MeasuredNo minimum annual billable-hour requirement for the plaintiff-side docket.
Timekeeping is required for internal management and for any hourly matters.
