Associate Attorney

A well-established litigation practice representing individuals and businesses across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The firm focuses on complex insurance coverage disputes, property damage claims, serious personal injury matters, business and contract disputes, consumer protection claims, legal malpractice, and medical malpractice litigation.

This role will concentrate on insurance litigation, specifically representing policyholders in disputes involving wrongfully denied or underpaid property damage insurance claims. The Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload and work closely with senior attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategy.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Manage and respond to written discovery
• Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and third parties
• Appear at hearings and court proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case development and strategy
• Maintain organized case files and effectively manage multiple matters.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Maryland or Virginia
• Litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
