Duties
- Handle corporate transactional, litigation, and real estate legal matters.
- Research and analyze complex legal issues, drafting briefs for submission to supervising attorneys, clients, courts, mediators, or arbitrators.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, or other judicial tribunals, presenting well-reasoned legal arguments.
- Analyze and summarize complicated legal documents, including contracts, and suggest revisions as needed.
- Negotiate contractual issues and legal disputes, including participation in settlement conferences.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential legal risks for clients and develop strategies to avoid litigation.
- Perform due diligence in legal matters involving contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
- Active California State Bar License (required).
- Ability to analyze and solve complex legal issues across corporate, litigation, and real estate law.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience negotiating and drafting contracts and legal agreements.
- Local candidates only; no relocation or remote work available.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
