We are seeking a Contract Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney to support our Phoenix-based litigation practice. This flexible hybrid/remote role is ideal for an experienced litigator who can independently manage substantive assignments in complex civil matters while contributing to case strategy.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other litigation documents, and analyzing case law to support litigation strategy. The attorney may assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery, reviewing documents and evidence, and preparing for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation. This role also involves contributing to case strategy discussions, identifying legal issues and risks within assigned matters, managing deadlines and assignments independently, and communicating professionally with attorneys, staff, and, when appropriate, clients.

Responsibilities may vary depending on case needs, the attorney’s experience, and availability.

• Licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience (more experienced candidates encouraged to apply)

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines

• Professional judgment and attention to detail

• Experience with Arizona courts, procedures, and rules

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a legal team

• Experience preparing for depositions, hearings, or trial is a plus

• Familiarity with litigation technology and case management systems preferred
