Whitson Law PLLC is looking for an experienced salesperson to conduct initial meetings with prospective new family law clients to help them understand how the unique legal services available at our law firm can solve their problems. An ideal candidate will show compassion for the stress and anxiety all potential clients feel when going through divorce, custody, and other stressful family transitions.

Strong candidates have a proven successful track record in selling high-ticket professional/financial services or tangible products utilizing a consultative selling methodology. To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about helping potential clients find clarity about their situation, educating them about their options and helping them see how the firm’s services can assist them in achieving their goals and attaining a better future.

We are only interested in candidates who are curious, active listeners who can empathize with and identify the potential client’s pain points and help match their problems to solutions that our firm offer so they can realize a better future.

Once a client chooses to hire our firm, our salesperson continues supporting our new clients by providing attentive, excellent onboarding. They ensure engagement agreements are created and share firm procedures, expectations, and systems. Then they facilitate a professional introduction and transition to the legal team and Dedicated Client Concierge who will be assigned to the client’s case. Periodic follow ups with clients are conducted to ensure a personalized client experience and a high-level of client satisfaction consistent with the Firm’s boutique brand and reputation.

Our salesperson will also remain in contact with potential clients who haven’t yet made decisions about representation so that they understand our door is open to them when they are ready to move forward. This team member also keeps detailed records about their consults to provide data-driven & constructive feedback to the owner and marketing department about the effectiveness of our marketing and branding strategies…even offering possible suggestions for improvement based on their direct experiences with clients.

Responsibilities of the Remote Salesperson/Client Engagement Specialist:
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach when conducting sales calls with prospective clients.
  • In accordance with the ethical rules governing lawyers, the salesperson will not provide legal advice. Rather, the role of the salesperson is to educate the prospect on the expertise and experience of our attorneys and the general services offered by our law firm that can address the particular legal challenge the prospect is currently facing.
  • Follow up with potential clients who did not immediately engage our firm.
  • Perform “white glove” intake and onboarding of new clients and transition them to the legal team.
  • Update firm CRM system and intake systems with details of all interactions with clients and prospects.
  • Share data and engage in dialogue with marketing and sales management team regarding the quality and quantity of leads, offer constructive feedback and suggestions for improving our sales intake processes based upon your “front lines” experience.
  • Attend trainings periodically to refine and hone your skills and knowledge base.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of success selling luxury, high-end, or professional services
  • Proven track record with, and strong interest in, consultative solution sales
  • Experience with any CRM, particularly reporting
  • Real life experience to give you empathy for the potential clients you meet
  • Knowledge of the legal industry is a plus - but is not required
Compensation:

$55,000 base, increased to $65,000 after 90 days; performance bonuses for potential on-target earnings of $90,000+ annually. Benefits include PTO, health/vision/dental insurance, 401k with employer match, employer-paid training programs.
