• Address and handle high-end cases involving serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios
• Develop strategies to bring cases to satisfactory resolutions
• Communicate legal opinions and resolutions to appropriate parties
• Identify cases for settlements and manage the subrogation process
• Attend and participate in mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as needed

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred;
  Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience handling litigation, including five (5) years of claims management experience
• Subject matter expertise in insurance principles and laws relevant to the line of business
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills

• Familiarity with legal pleadings and discovery processes
• Experience in a team environment and ability to work collaboratively
• Proven ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
