What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Review and act on reports/forms; respond to inquiries and communicate resolutions to appropriate parties
  • Handle high-end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios
  • Develop action plans in response to decisions, agreements, and court orders
  • Identify cases for settlements/redemptions and coordinate with client designees
  • Attend mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university preferred;
    Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience handling litigation, including five (5) years of claims management experience
  • Expertise in insurance principles and laws relevant to the line of business handled
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Familiarity with legal pleadings and discovery processes
  • Experience with medical management practices and Social Security and Medicare application procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
