- Review and act on reports/forms; respond to inquiries and communicate resolutions to appropriate parties
- Handle high-end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios
- Develop action plans in response to decisions, agreements, and court orders
- Identify cases for settlements/redemptions and coordinate with client designees
- Attend mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as needed
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university preferred;
Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred - Minimum of ten (10) years of experience handling litigation, including five (5) years of claims management experience
- Expertise in insurance principles and laws relevant to the line of business handled
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with legal pleadings and discovery processes
- Experience with medical management practices and Social Security and Medicare application procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills
- Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
