Trust & Estates Attorney

We are currently partnered with a leading national law firm seeking an experienced Trusts, Estates & Wealth Preservation attorney to join its established private wealth practice. This is a growth‑driven opportunity within a sophisticated group that advises high‑net‑worth individuals and families on complex estate, tax, and succession planning matters.

Location: Fully remote (with optional access to offices in Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, St. Louis, Tampa, and Tucson)

This position offers exceptional flexibility, including fully remote work, customizable schedules, and options for full‑time or part‑time employment.

• Advise high‑net‑worth individuals and families on complex estate planning and wealth transfer matters
• Draft sophisticated estate planning documents for taxable estates, including GST‑exempt trusts, GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, and other advanced planning vehicles
• Manage direct client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on multi‑generational wealth planning
• Prepare and/or review federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns, including Forms 706, 709, and 1041
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to deliver comprehensive and high‑quality client service
• At least 6 years of trusts and estates experience in a law firm setting
• Demonstrated experience working directly with high‑net‑worth clients and managing client relationships
• Strong technical background in complex estate planning and administration
• Experience with estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax matters preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• Commitment to providing high‑quality, client‑focused legal services
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
