Job Overview
A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney for its Southeast Litigation group in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role involves handling residential and commercial foreclosures, title disputes, and other real estate matters. The position offers flexibility with options for in‑office, hybrid, or remote work arrangements.
Duties- Manage a caseload of contested matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
- Appear in court for routine and contested hearings.
- Communicate regularly with clients for updates and case resolutions.
- Analyze loan files and title reports; draft motions and discovery documents.
- J.D. degree, licensed in Florida, and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- 1‑3 years of litigation experience in mortgage foreclosure or civil litigation preferred.
- Knowledge of Florida Mortgage Foreclosure process and Civil Procedure.
J.D. degree
CertificationsLicensed to practice law in Florida
