- Base salary: $185k–$275k DOE + bonus

The Insurance Litigation & Coverage Group carries a national reputation representing domestic and international carriers in coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and complex multi-insurer matters — from routine coverage questions to the most complex litigation in state and federal courts.
What you’ll work on- Drafting coverage opinions across CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers' compensation, and first party property cases
- Litigating insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts — contract actions, bad faith claims, and coverage disputes involving multiple insurers
- Excess and reinsurance dispute resolution
- Third party liability coverage — environmental and pollution, asbestos, construction defect, professional liability, advertising and personal injury, employment practices, motor carrier liability
- First party coverage — property damage and related claims
- Inter-insurer disputes — contribution, allocation, and priority of coverage
- Supervisory counsel for monitoring litigation and negotiating coverage disputes
- Policy drafting and interpretation — advising underwriters and claim examiners on liability risks and policy wording
- Appellate practice — advancing precedents that uphold policy enforce ability and define rules of policy interpretation
- SIU counsel and insurance fraud training
- California Bar admission
- 4+ years of Insurance coverage experience
- Coverage opinion writing and coverage litigation background required
