Key Responsibilities- Advise and represent clients in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and labor relations.
- Manage all aspects of litigation and administrative proceedings, from initial case assessment through discovery, motion practice, hearings, and resolution.
- Counsel clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, workplace policies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Stay current on legal developments in labor and employment law, proactively advising clients on emerging risks and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a remote environment, contributing to a collegial and knowledge-sharing culture.
- 6+ years of dedicated labor & employment law experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex cases and client relationships.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
- Licensed to practice law in California, Illinois, Washington, Colorado, or Georgia.
- Prior remote work experience or demonstrated ability to thrive in a virtual team environment is preferred.
